Microstop Countersink Cage Description

Microstop countersink cages provide precise depth control by limiting the travel of the cutter being used, and aiding in the alignment of the cutter so that it is exactly perpendicular to the surface against which the cage rests.

All microstop units feature hardened and ground spindles. These are supported by bronze bushings (for general use), or needle bearings and ball bearings (for more demanding high-speed applications). Thrust bearings provide axial support while the micro-adjustment offers precise depth control. Units may be ordered with a variety of foot-pieces and skirt styles. This cage offers a .001 depth adjustment.
