Piloted aircraft stop countersink cutters (often called micro-stop cutters, or microstop countersinks) are used to make precision countersinks to accept flush-head fasteners. 1/4” body diameter, high speed steel, 100°, 1/4-28 thread. Typically used for countersinking holes for 3/32” (04-40) or smaller diameter fasteners. The head diameter of the flush fasteners must not exceed 1/4” to insure proper seating of the screw
