Zephyr 5/16” Tri-Wing ® #5 Insert Bits, ACR Description
The Zephyr Tri-Wing bit, also known as triangular slotted, has a screw drive that has three radial slots. The Zephyr Tri-Wing bit, as the name suggests, is a bit with three ”wings” and a small triangular hole in the center. The Tri-Wing drive type is common throughout the aviation industry. Zephyr Tri-Wing ACR bits feature special wing-face ribs grip screw recesses to reduce stripping and cam-out which can result in damage to the surrounding work piece.
